Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Hablo mobile application ("the App"), developed by Maksym Potapenko ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. The Service

Hablo is an educational tool designed to help you practice Spanish verb conjugations. The App works offline and provides practice exercises, progress tracking, and practice reminders. The App is provided for learning purposes only.

3. Subscriptions

Hablo offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("Hablo Master") that unlock additional features.

  • Pricing: Subscriptions are available on a monthly or yearly basis. Current prices are displayed in the App at the time of purchase (for example, Monthly €4.99 and Yearly €39.99). Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.

  • Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

  • Managing your subscription: You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.

  • Free trials and offers: If a free trial or promotional offer is provided, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

All purchases are final and processed by Apple. Refunds, where applicable, are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store policies. We do not process payments or issue refunds directly.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by law;

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose;

  • Copy, distribute, or create derivative works of the App or its content without authorization.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, content, text, graphics, and all related materials, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

6. Educational Disclaimer

Hablo is a self-study tool intended to support your Spanish learning. We do not guarantee any specific learning outcome, level of language proficiency, or results from using the App. The App is not a substitute for formal language education.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
