Hablo ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is a Spanish verb conjugation learning app developed by Maksym Potapenko. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. By using Hablo, you agree to the practices described below.

We have designed Hablo to be privacy-respecting by default. The App works fully offline and does not require an account.

Information We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. Hablo has no backend server and does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share any personal information to use it.

Data stored on your device

All of your learning data is stored locally on your device only, including:

Your learning progress (verbs practiced, tenses, results)

Your practice streak and session history

Your app settings (such as language preference and notification time)

This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. If you delete the App, this data is removed from your device.

Notifications

If you enable practice reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and are not sent through, or visible to, any external server.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Hablo offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("Hablo Master"). All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

Apple handles all payment processing, billing, and subscription management. Apple's collection and use of your information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

Third-Party Services

The App does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services. We do not share data with third parties because we do not collect any.

The only third party involved is Apple, solely for processing optional in-app purchases as described above.

Children's Privacy

Hablo does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The App is suitable for all ages and does not collect data that could identify a user.

Your Rights

Because Hablo does not collect or store any personal data on external servers, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control of all data stored locally on your device:

You can reset your learning progress at any time within the App's settings.

You can delete all App data by uninstalling the App from your device.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the rights to access, rectify, and erase personal data. As we do not hold any of your personal data, these rights are exercised directly through your control of the App on your device.

Data Security

Your learning data is stored locally on your device and protected by your device's own security features (such as your passcode and device encryption). Because no data is transmitted to us, there is no risk of your data being exposed through our systems.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
